I ordered a Tenor Ukulele, but it had a flaw when I was checking it out. They reached out to me and offered a similar Ukulele that was a bit pricier, and it didn’t cost me a dime. A few days later, they called again to help me with Low-G string options and to check if I was still cool with the exchange.

They truly exceeded my expectations and gave way more help and advice than I could’ve imagined, especially since I was just getting an entry-level Ukulele, nothing fancy! I’d totally recommend them and wouldn’t hesitate to contact them if I ever ran into a problem.

This ukulele is set up nicely and has an awesome sound. It's truly worth the price. In my opinion, SUS is the top choice.

Honestly, I’m not one to rave about businesses regularly, but… my Anuenue Cedar Bird UT214E has arrived! DPD delivered it the very next day. Rob provided top-notch, professional customer service, offering expert advice, and the instrument itself is just outstanding, perfectly set up by Gunsy. The genuine video reviews from Alex on YouTube really helped to convince me to go for it. Team SUS definitely knows their ukes! 😂

This store has a really helpful website, and the advice from the staff, who are all talented musicians, is top-notch. The service is great, and the items I bought were packed securely and shipped fast with dependable carriers. My latest buy, a ukulele, arrived in just 2 days, right before Christmas. They did mention there might be some blemishes on this specific model, but honestly, I didn’t see any that stood out. The instrument is quite attractive without being overly flashy, showcasing a beautiful wood grain and practical features like bridge pegs for easy string changes. The neck is a bit wider than usual but feels comfortable to hold. Overall, this is a quality yet budget-friendly instrument with a wonderful sound, priced at just under £200. So, what’s this lovely piece? It’s a Super Tenor Islander by Kanile’a.

I placed an order for a new ukulele on a Wednesday morning, needing a strap button and a left-hand conversion. To my surprise, the very next morning, a delivery driver showed up at my door with my order. I just took my initial plunge into the Ukulele scene. After some fantastic and helpful guidance from Alex, I decided to order a Kala Tenor along with a case online.

I recently got myself an Uma Tenor from SUS, and let me tell ya, I'm absolutely thrilled with it—it's just amazing! Even though SUS is a good 150 miles away, they offer a ton of info, including reviews, which meant I learned more about this uke than I could have if I had trekked 300 miles and wasted hours in a store. I’ve heard how it sounds in the hands of a pro, and while I might never hit that level, it’s definitely motivated me to play more.

I really liked checking out the ukulele comparison videos! They made it easier for me to pick up on the sound differences and all the little details of each instrument. Buying and shipping went smoothly. I'm super happy with my new ukulele! Thanks a bunch!

Honestly, I can't say enough good things about the folks at SUS. They really care about what they do and take the time to help out customers with any questions. Their patience and enthusiasm are contagious. That's why I keep coming back to them for my purchases. Just so you know, I'm all the way from the West coast in the U.S. It's probably a blessing they're so far away, or I'd be in there non-stop, blowing all my cash.

I went to grab a Uke and ended up picking up two (Soprano & Concert). Right away, I realized I’d also want the Tenor with both high & low G. Plus, the string delivery is super quick too.

I've consistently received excellent service from Alex and the crew at Southern Ukulele when it comes to strings and other gear. My latest buy was a new Soprano (the second ukulele I've gotten from them), and after a few chats over email and phone about price, shape, nut width, pickup, and all that jazz, we settled on a Flight Fireball. The last step was picking the specific Uke since he had five different models available. By this point, we had established such a solid rapport that I just asked Alex to pick one for me, and he sent over a stunning piece that arrived safe and sound within 24 hours.
